Xiaomi is one of the vendors from China who successfully expanded to various countries, including Indonesia. You could say Xiaomi took the hearts of people in various countries with cheap and attractive specs.
Based on information reported by gsmarena, reports have emerged showing the 10 best-selling smartphones in the world, where one of Xiaomi’s smartphones made it into the list.
This Xiaomi smartphone was ranked fourth as the best-selling smartphone in the world, namely the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Meanwhile, the first to fourth position was filled by Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro, Nokia 6, and Samsung Galaxy S8.
The most popular Xiaomi smartphone in the world
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 can be one of the best-selling smartphones because the hardware specifications offered are high, but the price is arguably affordable.
This smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB internal storage. Interestingly, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has escaped 30% TKDN for the 4G-LTE network and officially breezed in Indonesia.
When compared with other smartphones that use Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processors, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the cheapest with official prices in Indonesia reaching Rp 1.8 million. While the price is not official, it reaches Rp 1.5 million.
According to my analysis, Xiaomi has indeed taken the right step by embedding the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and low prices on the Redmi Note 4 so that it is sold well in various countries.
